Uncovering the Sud

Me:     Oh! I am so happy.
Face:   Yeah! So with me.
Me:     Finally, I have invented the most intellect and wise friend for me.

You are my best creation ever in life!

Face:   Hey! Wait. Mind you and let me correct you a bit. You have just

uncovered me. You know this, I am immortal and eternal. Right?
Me:     Oh Yes. A little mistake I made while choosing the words. You are

just. You cannot be invented or created. You are eternal; the one

beyond the metempsychosis (the cycle of birth and death).
Face:   [Smiles] Hmm........
Me:     You are my soul, my inner-self, the most sacred and most liberal.

You are beggared (over and above) of this mundane world. You are

extreme of wisdom; immune and free from all guiles and sins.

[Silence for a while]

Me:     You know what! Actually I am happy because from today, I have

            separated myself from you.

Face:   Hmm........
Me:     From today, you will be my guide and a reservoir of all good

knowledge and intellect to enlighten my own-self.
Face:   But I’ve a doubt...
Me:      What?
Face:   Don’t you think, nevertheless, for you I am still a fictitious person

and any time can vanish in you.  After all, I am your self only.

Me:      [Smiles a bit cunningly] You are testing my faith in you. You are so

            astute (very clever).
Face:    No, indeed I am scared. Maybe some time you get disappeared in

your worldly busyness and forget me in a trice.
Me:      Yeah, honestly that may be a possibility as I may get bewildered in

this bustling world. But one thing is true, if I cannot create or invent

you, I cannot eliminate you either.

[Silence for a minute...]

Me:      Actually it is not you who has to worry. Rather it should be Me,

who ought to feel endangered (lost) if I happen to lose or forget you.

[Silence again...]

Me:     You are already immune from the world and from all worldly

pleasures and pains. You are a fragment (a part) of the God and an

illumined one-self. You are a store-house of truth and tranquility

            (the heavenly joy).

[A brief pause]

Me:     It is indeed me, who should have all the reasons to be worried. I am

the human body wielding a world all over me. Every day, I exult (be

joyous) for hundred reasons and wail (cry) for other hundred

            reasons.

In my world I wear on myself the countless counterfeits (fakeness) of

unfathomable (impossible to measure) materialism every day.

Everything looks so impulsive but up to no real destination.

Every bit of my world looks hallow and empty of substance; yet I

happen to accept and live with it.

[Follows a pin drop silence, which is broken by....]

Face:   And how would you define me?
Me:     You don’t need a definition or explanation. You are my inner-self,

my soul, the part of God inside me. Though you were always inside

me, yet I never could find you before.

[Silence]

Me:     Probably it was the scum (the fake mist) of this worldly effect, which

never let me find you before.
Face:   That’s what I am worried for. You will again forget me and

eventually world’s scum will mystify over our friendship once again.
Me:      No. I will not let that happen.
Face:    That’s what I want. You see, I am your benefactor and well-wisher

            too.
Me:     Yes, I know this.
Face:   Hmm........
Me:     I’ve never seen God. I am not even sure whether God indeed exists or

not. But, you are someone whom I can relate with God.
Face:   Hmm........
Me:     People say God can be seen and met by trance and penance. I am

highly doubtful if I would ever be able to work out all that and see

God. But now I believe that I won’t need doing those (trance &

penance) either. Rather I have found you now. I can see you, talk to

you, and I can ask you the questions as well.

I can look forward to you for my salvation (the redemption) from

my worldly misfits. You can give me everything, so why would I

            still need a God?

Face:   No you don’t [Smiles].  By all means and ends, I am enough for

            you.
Me:     I feel quite fulfilled. You are bliss upon me.
Face:   [Smiles]
Me:     I trust and respect you a lot. Though you are free from a name,

shape, feel and size, yet please allow me to give ‘a name’ to you.
Face:   [Astonished]

            Name? Name me! But why?
Me:     As you’ve become my friend; Oops! Best Friend now, I need a name

            to call you. Right?
Face:   [Laughs]

OK. So, what is my name now?
Me:     [Smiles blunt]
            Sud.
Face:   Sud? What is that?
Me:     It’s a name. Doesn’t it sound interesting to you?
Face:   [Smiles]

Hmm... I got it. It is the short name of you only. ‘Sud’; the first three

letters taken from your name. Now I got it. Yeah, it is a cool name

‘Sud’. Even I start finding it interesting now.
Me:     [Smiles]
Face:   I am happy for the name. Thanks for giving it. So, I am ‘Sud’ now.

[Brief Pause]

Me:     Please allow me to come and meet you whenever I feel like.
Sud:   Come on! As we are friends now, no formalities are required. Just call

me whenever you feel like. You need not take my permission.
Me:     Thanks [Smiles].
Sud:   Again formalities?
Me:    Oh! Sorry [Embarrassed].
Sud:   Then again?
Me:     Oh! Forgive me now.
Sud:    [Laughs]
Me:     [Laughs]
           You tease me.

Sud:    [Smiles before a brief pause]
So, when are we meeting next?
Me:     I am so excited.
Sud:   Same here.
Me:     I will come back very shortly.
Sud:   Sure.
Sud:   Bye
Me:    Bye Bye.

About the book:

May be we never notice, but for all moments of our days, we take place living another parallel life around us.

There is someone else, always living inside of our mind and body who is purer and wiser than how this world usually knows us as.  You may name it as our soul, our inner voice or a part of God within us, but indeed there is some one invisible who does co-exists with us; always.  We all look perfect or atleast we pretend looking so, but we always wonder about many subtle questions hitting the inner shell of our skull.  We keep on living the countless dilemmas with the every breath that we take.

Read here the beginning of the most credible conversation...
