THIS LAMPPOST WAS RELATIVELY tinier. It stood atleast 5-6 feet lower than the usual height of other lampposts I had seen earlier. Everything else about this one was however familiar, like upwardly narrowing cylindrical shape of pole, the identically slanting wooden board on its upper head; but not its height.
Undeterred by the abnormality, I advanced nearer to the lamppost. But as soon as I reached the closest, I felt deterred. Yes, it was abnormal in a big way.
The reason of shortened height of lamppost was not its pole; but it was a five-six feet deep pit which had been dug in the ground. The pole was standing at bottom of the pit, and this was the reason that the visible height of the lamppost was understandably smaller. Before looking upwards carefully, I began downwards; in to the pit-hole.
Seeing such a hollow pit here, anyone could tell what it was. Being near about two feet in width, six or seven in length and five-six feet deep down, the pit was not looking freshly dug.
Although I had clearly understood it to be a grave-hole, yet before looking upwards to the board, I looked around for several times in search of some otherwise reason so as to prove it to be something else; and not the grave-hole.
I didn’t find anything around except the vast barrenness in the garden.
Then very next moment, inexplicably though, a certain kind of courage filled in my heart. I stopped fearing, if I had started any. I said to myself,
“If it is so, let it be.”
I had lifted up my gaze at the board. It said,
“WHEN YOU WILL DIE?”
Impatiently, I read on,
***
When You Will Die?
***
"Whom should you love most? Your possessions – Your family – or Your ideologies? No, it is none of the said. But wait! Before knowing anything else, come to know here the subtlest – Who you are? You are not how you take place in your life, but instead you are how you take place in others’ life. You do not die when you die, but you die when you die in the life of others. Love not your possessions, family or ideologies; instead love others; so that you never stop taking place in others’ life. Live to die never in others’ life. You are not the mortal. Begin choosing for yourself – The Immortality.”
Whether I used to nurse any frightening apprehension about reading of death or even at a thought of it? Yes, I had it earlier, but no longer now. And especially after reading the board; it couldn’t be ever.

About the book:
None of us knows that what will we do, if, all of a sudden God appears in our way. None of us does either give a thought to it.
We doubt HIM because we remain ever sure that God doesn't come in this way.
But, do you know!
We keep on seeing God very often. Just that, we do not come to know about it...
